In the dialogue, President Xu pointed out that Chinese medicine was summarized and developed by our ancestors based on the natural environment and the laws of climate change in the four seasons, and it is the oriental wisdom of using medicine, acupuncture and other therapies to regulate the body based on the nature of heaven and earth.
In the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 epidemic, we adopted integrated medicine to effectively combine traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, and achieved remarkable results. Traditional Chinese medicine is not only used in epidemic period, but also applied to medical problems in the late epidemic period. In addition, for one of the biggest problems of this century – psychological problems, especially the surge of anxiety, depression and other mental problems during the epidemic, TCM also has methods and means to solve such problems.
At the end of the dialogue, President Xu said to the ambassador and his wife that we sincerely hope to share Chinese medicine with the world and bring the wisdom and successful experience of Chinese medicine to people around the world.
